Email and reminders

Messages has two tabs. Share gives you a personal text for each household to send yourself on LINE or WhatsApp: free on every plan, see Share invite links. Email sends for you. Email comes with the plans that include it.

While email is not set up

Email is switched on for the platform step by step. Until then the Email tab says Email isn't set up yet, nothing can be sent, and automatic reminders wait. Keep using Share. A scheduled email that comes due while email is off does not go out, and its page says so.

Write an email

1. Open Messages, then Email, then New email.
2. Choose the Message type: invitation, reminder, update, day-of details or thank you.
3. Choose Who gets it: all households, Not replied yet, attending a part of the day, one side, one group, or sent but not opened.
4. Write the subject and the message in English and Thai. Leave the subject empty for the usual one.
5. Fields in double braces, such as the household's name, its invite link, the RSVP deadline or the table, are filled in for each household.

Each household gets its own copy, in its language, with its own invite link. The Preview shows it for any household. Your draft saves as you type.

Who gets it

Recipients counts the households. Households without an email address are listed, with Send them the Share message instead. Households that asked to stop emails are left out. Emails left shows what your plan still allows.

Send now or later

• Now, then Send now.
• At a set time: pick the date and time in the event's time zone, then Schedule. It goes to the households in its audience at that time. Cancel the schedule turns it back into a draft.

Once an email is sent or scheduled, its text and audience no longer change. The Delivery log shows each household's state. Emails over the day's sending limit go out the next day.

Automatic RSVP reminders

Households that have not replied get an email a set number of days before their RSVP deadline, at 9:00 Bangkok time. On the Email tab, under Automatic RSVP reminders:

• Send automatic reminders switches them on or off. They are on unless you switch them off.
• Days before the deadline sets when they go: 14 and 3 days before, unless you change it.
• Use the default text or Write my own text, in English and Thai.

Reminders need an open RSVP deadline: set one in the RSVP settings.

Stopping emails

Every email to guests ends with Stop these emails. A guest who taps it gets no more emails about this event, and their invitation link keeps working. Share still reaches them.
