Singles

An opt-in corner where adult guests meet other singles, with safety rules that always apply.

Singles is off for every new event. When it is on, adult guests who choose to can join the singles table or make a short profile and meet other singles at the event.

Turn it on

  1. Open Modules & plan and read the Singles safety rules.
  2. Tick the box and choose Accept the rules. They are accepted for this event only.
  3. Choose Turn on singles now, or switch Singles on later.

Singles needs a plan that includes it.

The rules that always apply

  • Adults only: guests confirm they are 18 or older.
  • Guests opt in themselves, on their own phone. Nobody can sign them up.
  • Contact details appear only after both people spark each other.
  • Children and walk-in guests never see singles.
  • Singles never appear on the Venue screen or in exports, only as counts.
  • Block and report are always there.

What guests see

Adult guests find the Singles corner on their site. They can choose Seat me at the singles table, Show my profile to other singles, or both. They confirm it is really them, that they are 18 or older, and who may see their profile.

With a profile, they add photos and a few answers, then Spark or Skip other singles. When two people spark each other, it is a match, and each sees the contact the other chose to share. Block and Report are on every profile and match.

Your Singles page

Singles shows counts only: who joined, visible profiles, the singles table and matches. A profile shows only when someone reported it: Dismiss the report, Hide profile or Remove profile. You can also assign "Find your other half" pairs, a game for the singles.

When singles data goes

A guest can delete their singles profile at any time from Privacy and my data in the site's menu. All the event's singles data is deleted a set number of days after the last part of the day: 30 unless you change it in Settings, under Data retention.
